Wichita State University will be offering five off-campus 0.5 credit hour workshops/courses for fall 2016 designed primarily for students 60+ years of age.

These courses are FREE to students 60+ years of age who enroll prior to September 16, 2016. After September 16 applicable fees will apply.* To begin the registration process for these five classes, senior citizens must first complete and submit an application. Applications can be taken to the business office at one of the course locations, or mailed to:

Once you are registered, all you need to do is show up at the first day of class and present a Medicare card or driver’s license to validate age. In addition, you will be required to pay all fees (via check or cash only) at your first class.
Students who are younger than 60 years of age can enroll in these courses, but will pay regular tuition and fees. If you’re younger than 60 and have NOT previously been admitted to WSU, you can apply here. If you’ve already been admitted as a student at WSU, you can register for these classes through the myWSU portal. You will need the CRN number for the courses in which you would like to register. The CRN number and additional details for each course can be found using the links below.

*Per the Kansas Board of Regents’ Policy, students 60 years of age and older can enroll as auditors in academic credit courses when space is available without paying tuition. The only cost to these students are any applicable workshop fees and lab/special course fees. In addition, seniors citizens who have not previously been enrolled at WSU must pay a one-time application fee of $40.00.
