In this 0.5 hour badge, students will learn the basics of exporting. This includes the importance of exports, potential barriers to exports, evaluating export markets, and sources for export related market research.

Course Objectives

  1. Explain the benefits of exporting
  2. Describe the different types of market entry barriers
  3. Identify the sources of market research data
  4. Explain the different types of free trade agreements and their benefits

Credit Hours

Success in this 0.5 credit hour course is based on the expectation that students will spend a minimum of 22.5 hours over the length of the course for course related activities.
